The story behind our name...
People sometimes ask how the Cannery received it's name. Over 100 years ago, back before the Cannery became the New Entertainment Capital of East Texas it was an actual factory that canned blackberries and other produce. The factory served as the city's main source of income and by the 1950's Lindale was named the "Blackberry Capital of the World". Today the Cannery blends the old with the new, all while making an effort to establish Lindale, Texas community as the premier destination for entertainment, shopping and dining in East Texas. The Cannery is the NEW Entertainment Capital of East Texas!Read Lindale’s History and More
